When we first started talking, and you’ve already alluded to this, you made the statement that you want to treat the patient in the shortest amount of time as possible. Now, in my experience, that truly is a little bit different because the treatment plan for some chiropractors just extend indefinitely into the future. And here you are saying, well, I think we can get this done in, you know, half a dozen treatments. And I’m going, wow.

Ken Frederick – Chiropractor – Port Orchard, Washington

That’s my philosophy. I don’t want to be pigeonholed as a chiropractor that says, okay, now you’ve got to see me for the rest of your life. I don’t want to be one of those guys. I am really comfortable with getting someone better in the fewest amount of treatments possible.

However, the other chiropractors don’t necessarily say, okay, you got to see me the rest of your life. What they do is they offer an education. And the education is that, you know, we’ve got 206 bones in our body. Wherever 2 bones meet is a joint. And all moving parts never stay true to their design in a lifetime. Your vehicle has moving parts that need to be replaced, they wear out, or some, your wheels need to be realigned. It’s always a good thing to check and make sure that your vehicle has its tune up. Well, so does the human body.

A bone can start to misalign, but you know what? It’s just like a cavity. You’re not going to know it until it gets bad enough. So, the philosophy of these chiropractors will be to educate their patients along the way in their treatment and say, you know, it’s not a bad idea to come in once in a while and just get checked. You know, I would say it’s probably a wellness idea that would be agreeable to a lot of people.
