Well, let me ask this question. A patient is hurt, feels pain. What is your suggestion to them of how they should choose a chiropractor?

Ken Frederick – Chiropractor – Port Orchard, Washington

Well, if they have never seen a chiropractor before, I would probably, A, ask friends or family for opinions. And I would look at reviews. Reviews are important. And I would call an office. I would see, okay, here’s a five-star. And I would say, okay, what kind of adjusting do they do? Do you accept insurance? Do you accept cash patients? Is the doctor a male or a female? Because everybody does have a preference. Some don’t, but a lot of people do.

Many of my patients are moving to a different part of the country and they say, what do I do? And I say, well, you get a bunch of names and you know what adjusting you’re used to, and just call the office and ask them if they do that particular technique that you’re familiar with or that works well for you.
