“Ray Hrdlicka with Bail Bond Cowboys. One of the questions you may have, if you’re a Mom and your son’s in trouble, is, ‘hey, my son’s bail is really high. Is that normal?’

Well, the answer to that question has a bunch of variables. How many priors does he have? What’s the charge? How many charges are there? And if there’s a victim in the crime, is he a threat to the victim in the crime? Is there a serious problem right there? A threat to the community? A threat to himself?

So, all those variables come into play, and many times a Judge will set a bail really high because it’s the initial reaction. And then you go into court and ask for a bail reduction. You’ve read, in the news, dozens and dozens, hundred of times…it set really high, and then you have a bail reduction, and it comes down. And it may even come down some more.

It all depends on what the situation is. What the charges are. Priors. Where he’s at, realistically, also what county he’s in. What county? Because some counties are going to charge the same charge differently. Every county has its own set of rules, in terms of bail, and so, all that comes into play. You may have to hire an attorney to bring it down from here to here to here.

So, that’s the answer to that question. Give us a call. We can help you out. We can find out all that information for you. Ray Hrdlicka, Bail Bond Cowboys.”
