How Long Will It Take To Bail Someone Out Of Jail?
Ray Hrdlicka – Bail Agent – Bail Bond Cowboys
“Hi…this is Ray Hrdlicka…so the question that is on the table is…’how long will it take to bail somebody out of jail?’ And actually, the answer is…. depending upon the county. You’ve got some counties like Los Angeles, realistically it’s going to take 8 to 12 hours to get somebody out. Could be as soon as 6 or 8 hours. But in some of the smaller counties, you’re looking at a couple of hours, maybe four at the most.
And in new cases where they’re actually in the booking area… you call us right away, whenever you get that call, you call us right away, because if we can tell the jail ‘keep them in booking, do not transfer them to general population, do not put them in the inmate uniform, do not have them take their clothes off.’ If we can keep him in booking, we can get him out of jail really quick…so it’s very, very important that you call us as soon as you get that call, so that we can call the jail.”
