Will He Be Remanded Back Into Custody When He Goes To Court?

Ray Hrdlicka – Bail Agent – Bail Bond Cowboys

“Hi, Ray Hrdlicka with Bail Bond Cowboys.  Now the question you may have is…’will he be remanded back into custody when he goes to court?’  Surprisingly, that is a question I have been asked many times when bailing somebody out of jail.  But think about this…I want to make sure you understand.  When we post the bail, that bail is good for the entire length of the court case, unless some things change such as new charges where they might raise the bail and take him back into custody.  That’s really the only reason the court would remand somebody back into custody.

On this particular case, if they put NEW charges on the case, NEW issues come up and the court raises the bail and takes him back into custody.  But with the absence of anything new to the case, you’re going to stay out of custody the entire length of the case.

That’s our job…to get you out of jail.  We want to make sure you go to court, till the end of the court case, and then our bond is exonerated.  The bond is for however many court appearances you may have.  The answer to the question ‘if I bail him out on Monday, is he going to get remanded back into custody at his court date on Thursday?’…the answer is no.  If you have any other questions, give us a call.  Ray Hrdlicka with Bail Bond Cowboys.”
