“What information should the injured party have when they decide to call you? Should they prepare anything in this first phone conversation? What should they do?”

Andrew Dósa – Personal Injury Attorney – Alameda County, CA

“What I like is for clients to basically keep track of all their paperwork and bring whatever they have. I’ll make copies if they want to keep copies. They can have their originals and I will keep the copies and add to the file. But I want to know who is their insurance adjuster? What was the insurance company? What’s the policy number? Did they get a claim number? What was the estimate for the repairs on the vehicle, if they have that already? If not, I can help them do that. I do that as a courtesy without a charge, and help them settle their property damage. There’s no fee involved, that’s just part of the services. The idea is that as much information as I can get, I want from the client. At the same time, if they only give me a claim number for the insurance company, and the adjusters name and a phone number, I can do the rest.”

“So, whether it’s a little information or a lot, you can deal with it.”

Andrew Dósa – Personal Injury Attorney – Alameda County, CA

“I can deal with it. It just means that I will make one less phone call. It’s just part of the nature of the practice.”
