How Long Will My Court Case Last?

Ray Hrdlicka – Bail Agent – Bail Bond Cowboys

“This is Ray Hrdlicka with Bail Bond Cowboys. The question you may have is, ‘how long will my court case last?’ It’s a really good question.  It all depends on the type of charge.  If you’ve got a misdemeanor, it’s going to not take but a short period of time, one or two court appearances, maybe three.  You get most misdemeanors resolved, adjudicated is the word they use in court here, and that’s either the case is resolved not guilty or dismissed, in probably two, three, four months maximum.  Okay?

If you got a felony, you’re still going to be able to get it done in less than a year.  Most criminal case are resolved, again…adjudicated, in somewhere between six months and nine months, maybe ten months.  Rarely does it ever go over a year.  That’s the length of time that you’re going to be responsible to me, as a bail bondsman, once I get you out of jail.  That’s how long the court case lasts.  Misdemeanor and felony.  Again, if you have any questions, give us a call.  Bail Bond Cowboys.  The number’s on the screen.  Good talking to you.”
